Peggy Sinclair-Morris has been in the position of Director for Outreach Services at the Kentucky School for the Blind since November 2014. Prior to that, she worked as the Project Coordinator for the Virginia Deaf-Blind Project in Richmond, Virginia. Peggy has worked in the field of Visual Impairment and Deaf-Blindness for the past 25 years as an itinerant Teacher of the Visually Impaired and Orientation and Mobility Specialist in Texas, New Mexico and Virginia. Peggy has a B.S.R. in Orientation and Mobility From Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX and an M.A. in Deaf Education with a focus in Early Intervention from Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C.
As Outreach Director, it is Peggy’s goal to ensure that students with visual impairment throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky are receiving quality services; to provide quality technical assistance to teachers of the visually impaired, district personnel, and families and to serve as a resource for other state agencies.
