I have devoted my professional life to the educational community. I am a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University where I earned a Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts in Elementary Education. I taught in an elementary classroom setting for 14 years. Following that, I completed my VI certification at the University of Louisville and served six years as the district TVI in both Martin and Clark counties.
In 2014, I was honored to begin serving as a KSB Outreach Consultant for the Central Kentucky Educational Cooperative. More than anything, I am a teacher at heart and I am excited to share my experience and knowledge with other teachers of the blind/visually impaired to ultimately provide the best services in the nation to our students and guide them in achieving their greatest potential.
My husband David and I enjoy riding the motorcycle, camping at the beach, and spending time with our children, Jasamyn and Dylan.
