Pamela Howard, Kentucky School for the Blind Outreach Consultant, has served in the field of education for more than 20 years. She has served as an Early Childhood Program Coordinator & Instructor, Elementary Education Teacher, Early Interventionist, Assistive Technology Practitioner, Itinerant Teacher of the Blind/Visually Impaired, and currently an Outreach Consultant with the Kentucky School for the Blind serving the Kentucky Educational Development Cooperative.
Pamela received a dual BA degree in Education and Biblical Studies at Kentucky Christian University and both her MA in Teaching Exceptional Children (Visual Impairments) and her Rank 1 in Assistive Technology from the University of Louisville. She is also a certified Teacher Consultant in Programs for Exceptional Children and a certified Elementary Education Program Consultant.
Throughout her career she has developed, facilitated, and provided relevant trainings across the state to ensure quality services for students across Kentucky and has mentored many TVIs through university programs, and serves on several organizational boards to improve and expand services for students.
Pamela enjoys living the country life with her husband Jack and two sons, Alex and Kooper.
